What is a healing immersion?
Healing Immersions are curated spaces focused on accelerating your transformation by diving more deeply into your healing process with more momentum over a condensed period of time to amplify self-awareness, refine your internal healing capacities, process and transmute old pain, and support you in the embodied integration of important teachings that will sustain your growth.
While traditional psychotherapy build up your healing and transformational potential over elongated periods of time (weeks/months/years), healing immersions are focused on curating a space where you can experience more profound healing in a condensed period of time. When you find yourself stuck in a rut of pain or a seemingly endless feeling of stagnation, it can be helpful to intentionally step into an immersion to jumpstart your healing process. Healing immersions serve to amplify the internal and external motivation, momentum, and practices we need to break free from long-standing, deep internal wounding to bring about about the profound and needed changes we seek in our own lives.
How is this different than traditional therapy?
The PRocess
A HEALING IMMERSION TYPICALLY CONSISTS OF SIX 2.5 HOUR HEALING SESSIONS OVER THREE DAYS
Initial Meeting
INTAKE + ASSESSMENT
We begin by having an initial intake session to better understand your wellness intentions, assess the current state of your mental, emotional, somatic, and spiritual health and well being, and determine if a healing immersion is the best fit for where you are in your healing process. If everything aligns, we will move forward together to book your healing immersion.
SESSION two - Five
REPROCESSING + HEALING DEEP DIVE
The following four sessions will focus on a combination of refining your internal resourcing and regulating skills, carefully building out your capacity to tap more into understanding the internal wounds that are keeping you stuck, and gently guiding you through the steps of reprocessing and tending to these internal wounds to promote optimal healing on all levels.
SESSION ONE
INTENTIONS + SAFETY BUILDING + RESOURCING
The first session we will focus on strengthening your internal self-awareness to clarify the seeds of your intentions, building a sense of trust and relative safety through boundary setting and co-regulation exercises, and growing your ability to resource and ground your system through somatic and shamanic practices.
Session Six
INTEGRATION + HOMEWORK
The final session will focus creating space to close out the healing immersion space with intention and care and promoting the sustained integration of the impact of the healing immersion by creating space for self reflection, sharing important lessons, reinforcing specific skills and practices developed, clarifying one's ongoing growing edges and the necessary homework to continue solidifying the full impact of the healing immersion.
Somatic therapy
TO SUPPORT YOUR BODY
Somatic therapy is a holistic approach that emphasizes the connection the body and mind. It explores how physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts can influence each other, helping individuals release stored trauma and tension. Through various techniques, such as breathwork and movement, somatic therapy encourages clients to become more aware of their bodily experiences, promoting healing and self-discovery. This therapeutic practice can lead to improved emotional well-being and a deeper understanding of oneself.
Brain-Based Therapy
TO SUPPORT YOUR MIND
Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach focuses on the connection between eye position and emotional processing. Developed by Dr. David Grand, it helps individuals access and traumatic memories or emotional distress by identifying specific eye positions that correlate with their feelings. This innovative technique allows for deeper exploration of the mind, facilitating healing and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment. Through brainspotting, clients can achieve a greater understanding of their emotions and experiences, leading to transformative change.
Shamanic Support
TO SUPPORT YOUR SPIRIT
Shamanic soul retrieval is a spiritual practice at reclaiming lost parts of the soul, often due to trauma or emotional distress. This healing journey helps individuals restore their sense of wholeness and reconnect with their true selves. Limpias on the other hand, are traditional cleansing rituals that involves the use of sacred herbs and prayers to purify the energy field, promoting balance and harmony. Together, these practices offer a powerful pathway for healing and personal transformation, guiding individuals towards greater well-being and inner peace.
