By accessing specific points within your field of vision, we support your vessel in reprocessing and integrating previously painful experiences to create a sense of embodied peace, regulation, and internal harmony.

What is brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a brain-based therapy created by Dick Schwartz that connects with specific points within your field of vision and corresponding natural eye positions to access and gently release deeply held energetic, emotional, mental, and physical imprints of trauma stored within your vessel. It's particularly useful for healing the multidimensional roots of specific traumatic or stressful experiences in one's life.

Where we begin
CENTERING + DISCOVERING YOUR "SPOT"
We start with an initial conversation to understand what you're hoping to heal and if Brainspotting is the right fit for you. Then, in our first sessions, we'll focus on helping you feel safe and grounded, and gently guide you to find a specific eye position, or "brainspot," where you naturally look when thinking about the issue you want to address.
LISTENING AND HEALING

As this processing unfolds, you'll be invited to simply notice any sensations, subtle shifts, or insights that arise within your body. This compassionate observation helps your system release what it's been holding, whether it's a physical release or a new understanding.

Once your brainspot is identified, you'll hold your gaze there while gently focusing on the identified challenge.
