I have dedicated over seven years of personal healing, study, apprenticeship, and practice with my teachers and elders from diverse Indigenous lineages including the Tolteca, Mexica, Lakota, Shipibo, Ashaninka, Wixarica, Mazateca, Mayan, Dine, Yoeme, and more. Through my studies, I have developed a multicultural approach to earth based healing and ceremony that respectfully weaves together the traditional healing practices of Curanderismo passed onto me with "modern" approaches of somatic, decolonial trauma sensitive therapies I've been trained in. I have served a wide range of people during my professional career as a therapist in diverse settings, including inpatient women's shelters, psychiatric hospitals, assertive community treatment teams, crisis houses, research hospitals, outpatient addiction clinics, and private therapy practices. I have completed extensive postgraduate training in trauma informed clinical practice and brain and body based therapies for healing.
